Norwegian pro snowboarder, artist and illustrator Danny Larsen recently launched his brand spanking new website which is worth checking out. Danny is based in Oslo and is part of the illustration collective Brenneriveien, when he is not out and about, shredding down a mountain.
For the past years Danny has worked for some impressive clines such as Spy Optic, Thirtytwo, Maaemo, Spine Magazine etc. His awesome dotted style, must takes ages to create. Featuring Norwegian mountain landscapes with trolls, good old spruce forests, to Norse inspired logos. For more work check out his website.
“A landscape drawing for Oslo’s two Michelin starred restaurant Maaemo. A troll-infested foggy landscape inspired by Norwegian folklore. The drawing is now hanging as a permanent decoration in the kitchen.”
“Signature googles for Spy Optic 2015. A tribute to our home mountain in Oslo Norway. All googles come with a leather key chain with a tree print.”
The Lashed Larsen. Design for my 2014 signature colorway boot. Built on the Lashed boot featuring my new 32 Viking dragon logo and the Danny Larsen x Thirtytwo rune logo.
“Cover for first issue of Finnish magazine Spine Magazine. A magazine focusing on 50% snowboarding and 50% other cool stuff according to the founders. Also have an interview in there, visit the page and check out the online version of the mag.”
